On Saturday 1st August 2015, Gary & Rachel held their wedding reception at Holton Lee, a secluded wedding venue in Dorset, following their wedding ceremony at Holdenhurst Church, Bournemouth.
Guests arrived for the wedding reception to beautiful weather and peaceful surroundings at the 350 acre nature reserve near Poole, Dorset.
To quench their thirst pink lemonade and cider was available, along with sweet and salted popcorn to munch on, to keep hunger at bay.

Dotted around in the field outside were hay bales with colourful blankets and lots of games for guests to enjoy, such as a coconut shy, a bouncy castle, hoopla, giant jenga and footballs. The atmosphere was really relaxed and with the weather on their side, guests totally chilled out while the couple were having their photographs taken.
The couple put a lot of time and effort into making their decorations and the whole day was completely coordinated and colourful! Each bridesmaid and groomsmen wore a different vibrant colour, which also matched each table decorations; from the centre piece right down to the place settings and bunting hung up around the edge of the marquee and the table plan!
Each detail of the day had been carefully thought out, with a secure place for guests to leave cards, as well as write in the guest book, right down to a soft play area for young children attending the Dorset based wedding.
The couple chose to do a bring your own drinks day, which always works really well. It means that guests can enjoy exactly what they like. They did provide welcome drinks, table wine, a toast drink and a table of soft drinks and juice for the children.
Everyone enjoyed a hog roast followed by delicious profiteroles. After this, the guests moved outside once more to enjoy the early evening sunshine. The children continued to play with the games and on the bouncy castle, while the men had a game of waist coast vs non-waist coast football. The ladies did what ladies do best…chatting!
As the evening wore on, the DJ cranked the music up a bit to get the party started. The bride had thoughtfully put together a basket of flipflops for people’s sore feet.
After the cake cutting and first dance, the evening buffet was served and guests danced the night away in the marquee!
Congratulations Gary & Rachel! It was a pleasure to coordinate your Dorset wedding day!
Wishing you all the best for married life x
