Today is Sam & Mat’s third wedding anniversary. Sam is the director of South Coast Events and South Coast Weddings. We thought this was the perfect opportunity to look back on their wedding day.

Despite the day before being extremely windy and pouring with rain, the wedding day itself was so sunny and warm! The bride-to-be and her family, got ready at The Fisherman’s Haunt, just around the corner from St Luke’s Church, Burton, where the wedding ceremony was held. Mat’s mum is buried in the church grounds, so it meant to much to be able to have the wedding there.
Mat’s dad and his florist friends arranged all of the flowers in the church and also for the centrepieces at the reception, which looked beautiful!
The wedding transport was Dorset based company, Dorset Dub Hire.

The wedding reception was at Sopley Lake. The Dorset marquee venue was chosen based on the fact that Sam & Mat wanted a laid back, relaxing day for everyone, which it was!
