Having worked with Organix on a previous event (see blog HERE) we were delighted to once again to be helping this lovely local company with an event.
“After Sam created the most magical Christmas party which we’ll never forget, we didn’t hesitate to ask for her help in arranging our 25th birthday party. Once again she created a faultless and beautiful occasion that was enjoyed by all. Sam always goes that extra mile with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. Can’t wait for our next event!” Helen Cookson
Organix came to us to help with their 25th birthday celebrations.
The brief: An away day for 50 people, within approx. 30 minutes of Bournemouth. To include food and accommodation and some wow factor.
From the choices we presented them with, it was easy for them to decide on the lovely Burley Manor in the New Forest. It’s only minutes from Bournemouth but is surrounded by lovely countryside and forest with deer roaming nearby. It is a tranquil hotel which Organix had exclusive use of.

The Organix team arrived on-site at 12:30pm to be greeted with a delicious buffet lunch of mixed Mediterranean focaccia breads, marinated salmon tartar on rye with dill & cucumber, asparagus & parmesan reggiano tartlets, pea & mint croquettes, crispy prawns with parsley & lemon along with sangria. This set them up for the planned afternoon presentations – geared towards the company’s huge achievements and plans for the future.

The barn at Burley Manor is a great flexible space to use for meetings, presentations but then also turned around for evening celebrations.

There was a break mid-afternoon for some delicious pastries, biscuits and desserts (well, it would be rude not to!) Quite frankly, we think there can never be too much food at an event and Burley Manor did not disappoint!

The afternoon was rounded up with a celebration cake, made by the talented Sweet Serenity, with tea and coffee, in the drawing room.

The staff had some relaxation time late afternoon, allowing us to turn the barn around for the evening and them the chance to glam up!

At 7pm, everyone reconvened in the drawing room for canapes and Prosecco before heading over to Burley Manor barn to sit down for dinner.

The room and tables were beautifully decorated by Fundoo Events. We regularly have the pleasure of working with Tammy and she is a decorating genius!

The lovely Katie Francesca sang during dinner – this lady has a voice as smooth as silk – which the guests enjoyed immensely.

The party went on into the evening with a band (Tumbling Dice) and photobooth (Primo Prints UK). Everyone stayed overnight and were very well looked after at Burley Manor hotel – we’d highly recommend the venue!
