We are very proud to be organising the 3rd annual Dorset Wedding Supplier Awards. We are very passionate about Dorset and about the wedding industry within the county. Supporting local businesses and helping them to get recognition within their chosen fields is something we feel particularly enthusiastic about.
When creating the awards, it was important to ensure they were accessible to all those that are eligible to enter and have a fair judging process. This has been achieved by the awards not being based on votes but instead using a blind judging process by impartial industry professionals.
See the gallery of last year’s winners here! One very happy winner on the night was Sweetcheeks Bakehouse, who received the cake maker award, as well as overall highest score. Also, Dorset Dub Hire, who took home the transport award for the second year. Another double winner was Camelot Marquees Ltd, for the marquee award and contribution to the wedding industry. The third double winner was Beach Weddings Bournemouth and Bellissimo Weddings for their venue and wedding planning. The last double winner was Wedding Time Bridal Salon in Dorchester, who won both the bridal wear award and grooms wear.

We are very much looking forward to finding out who 2015’s finalists are, after the closing date on 28th August, and then the award ceremony itself, on Friday 27th November at The Pavilion Ballroom, Bournemouth, Dorset where we will find out who the winners are!
