On Sunday 28th February 2016, we had the pleasure of attending the Lulworth Castle Wedding Fair. The castle is such a stunning backdrop, inside and out, it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular wedding venue here in Dorset!
We had the opportunity to chat to many of the local wedding suppliers we know, as well as some new ones we haven’t had the opportunity to meet before. The layout of Lulworth Castle Wedding Fair is great as suppliers are located in the castle, the marquee set up on the lawn and in the courtyard area. This gives visitors an opportunity to see all areas and an overview of the space available to hire for a wedding ceremony or wedding reception.
Dorset Dub Hire, who have beautifully restored vintage camper vans and a beetle, had their vehicles at the entrance to the wedding fair, which made for a lovely welcome to Lulworth Castle!
Inside the courtyard area, they also had ‘LOVE’ lights from their sister company, DDH Wedding and Event Hire. These are great for your wedding to put on your guest table, on a stage area, or entrance way – such a cute idea!
You can’t miss the flower wall, hired out for weddings and events by Twilight Tree and Flower Hire. The ladies had lots of beautiful centrepieces with them at the wedding fair, but the flower wall is so unique and we love it! It’s perfect as a backdrop for photographs and something different!
Arcade Flowers were located in the castle and their floral display was stunning! Based in the historic market town of Ringwood, their shop should definitely be visited to discuss your wedding flowers – they’re perfectly located for Dorset and Hampshire venues.
Swingletree Vintage earned themselves a bottle of champers for having the best stand at the wedding fair. With their wide range of vintage china, accessories, centrepieces and props available to hire, they are a must contact for your vintage and vintage inspired weddings!
Pegasus Disco were set up in the castle. As well as having their stand, they also provided the music for the fashion show. Mark is an incredibly experienced DJ who can provide an exceptional service for your wedding day or wedding reception.
Wedding Time Bridal Salon had a lovely display of wedding dresses and suits set up during the wedding fair and also showcased their beautiful gowns and suits during the fashion show. Their shop is located in Dorchester, which can cater for the whole wedding party.
