4th June saw a private party in Ringwood for Adam & Emily Lallana (of Liverpool Football Club fame) and their friends and family in the garden of their beautiful family home.
Emily contacted us, as they’re based in Manchester for the majority of the year, to help pull the event together. It was their youngest son’s 2nd birthday and they wanted to get all of their family and friends based near to their Ringwood home together to celebrate and have the opportunity to catch up with them all in person.
Emily had a really clear idea of what she wanted, which was really helpful for us to be able to create the look and event she wanted. She sent over images from Pinterest for inspiration which we loved as we’ve got so many Pinterest boards of our own.
Guests were greeted on arrival with a glass of Prosecco from The Bubble Bros. A Prosecco van is such a cute addition to any event and provides a great talking point!
The garden was decorated with lanterns and ribbon, to match the colourful decor in the marquee by Fundoo Weddings & Events. Ribbons are a simple but effective way to decorate a garden as they flow beautifully in the breeze.
The interior of the marquee had the wow factor. The marquee was from Jigsaw Marquees. Rustic tables and chairs from Taddle Farm Tents were decorated by Fundoo Weddings & Events with grass runners, painted terracotta pots filled with sand and bright and colourful windmills of varying heights. The ceiling of the marquee was filled with colourful paper lanterns of different sizes and two ribbon hoops. The finished look was amazing!
A Twirlywoos birthday cake and dessert table was created by Cake by Sadie Smith and quickly devoured by children and adults alike! The giant chalkboard name sign was from Jellicoe Creative and fit in perfectly with the theme.
Guests enjoyed canapes and BBQ food from Shaw’s Catering. It was a really lovely relaxed day so people could eat when they liked, rather than all having to sit down and eat together.
The children enjoyed a bouncy castle from DLB Leisure as well as the play equipment in the garden and the amazing mini football pitch in the garden.
It was an absolute pleasure to be involved with organising this event and being present on the day. We were made to feel extremely welcome by this lovely family.
