Today, we had the pleasure of attending the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry networking lunch at the stunning Summer Lodge Hotel in Evershot.

Having never visited the hotel before, we weren’t entirely sure where it was, so the drive seemed long…but, it was definitely worth it. The hotel itself sits within a picturesque village, although the weather was a bit dreary today so we didn’t get to appreciate the view as much as we would have liked to, and is a Grade 11 listed building. The staff were extremely welcoming on our arrival and we were shown through to a drinks reception. Here we chatted to a few really lovely people – all were new to us as we’ve never attended these events before.
After 30 minutes we were asked to take our seats. Upon our arrival we had been provided with an attendee list and beside our names it had two tables numbers. These were our tables; one for the main course and one for dessert, giving up the opportunity to speak with more people during the event.
The food was absolutely delicious and the waiting staff, efficient and organised. We will definitely be returning to Summer Lodge Hotel for a special occasion…or just because!
